Steven has been in the finance and banking industry for over 41 years and been involved in general business lending, agribusiness finance and equipment finance.
He specialises in Equipment Finance and enjoys finding a home for hard to finance equipment. His experience means he is able to provide the loan structures which fit in with clients working capital needs.
During his time at RLS he has built up a strong client base through provision of quality customer service and a strong desire to get the best finance solutions.

Scott Wittwer brings 39 years of experience in the finance industry, with the majority focused on agribusiness clients. Having been part of the business for five years, he offers deep knowledge and a practical understanding of the challenges faced by farming enterprises.
Scott supports clients with their financial requirements, from ensuring competitive banking arrangements to assisting with finance applications for land, investments, and equipment.
His extensive experience provides valuable insight into financing options and how lenders assess applications, helping clients make informed decisions.
Scott enjoys meeting farmers, understanding their stories, and helping them work towards their future goals. He is particularly passionate about adding value through practical advice and experience.

Since joining RLS in 2023, John has worked closely with clients on strategic planning, finance structuring, succession, and performance improvement. His experience spans advisory, coaching, and senior roles across professional services and regional support organisations.
John specialises in turning complex financial information into clear, actionable insights that support better decision-making and stronger business outcomes. His expertise includes conducting detailed farm business analysis, preparing feasibility studies to support investment decisions, and writing grant applications that help clients access funding and move forward with confidence.
He is passionate about helping farming businesses build resilience and achieve long-term success.
Outside of work, John is a keen golfer (despite a reliable slice) and enjoys being a wine adventurer.

Damien Goodrem is an experienced Agri Finance Relationship Manager with 16 years in the finance industry, bringing strong expertise in structuring finance solutions for agricultural clients.
Having joined the business a year ago, Damien works closely with clients across the diverse agricultural industries of the Sunraysia region, including horticulture, cropping, and mixed farming operations. He specialises in sourcing and structuring finance solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client and their business.
Damien takes a holistic approach to finance, investing time in understanding his clients’ businesses, challenges, and long-term goals. He is focused on delivering practical, well-structured funding solutions that support sustainable growth and long-term success.

Tom Kennedy joined RLS in 2025, bringing more than 40 years of experience in finance and banking, with a strong focus on agribusiness.
He has worked extensively across regional South Australia and New South Wales, supporting clients across industries including livestock, cropping, wool, horticulture, and viticulture.
Tom is known for building strong, trusted relationships and providing tailored financial solutions to help clients achieve the best outcomes for their businesses.
What he enjoys most is seeing his clients grow and prosper, knowing he has played a role in their success.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys cooking, ballroom dancing, and cycling.
Jan-Paul joined RLS in March 2021 and brings with him over 20 years of finance industry experience.
Jan-Paul assists the Commercial and Equipment Finance Departments.

Andrew Black has been working in the finance industry since 2004, with extensive experience across banking and mortgage broking, including both consumer and business lending.
Andrew is passionate about helping clients—especially first home buyers—achieve their dream of owning a home. He prides himself on making the lending process simple, smooth, and stress-free, and says there’s nothing better than delivering the news that a loan has been approved.
Known for his approachable and genuine nature, Andrew builds strong, lasting relationships and takes pride in being part of such an important milestone in his clients’ lives.
He is focused on continuing to grow his knowledge and helping more families enter the property market.
Outside of work, Andrew spends his time supporting his kids in their sporting activities, fitting in a round of golf when possible, and passionately following the Richmond Tigers.
Narissa joined RLS in April 2021 and brings with her an extensive retail customer service and management banking background with Bank SA.
As Business Manager, Narissa is responsible for leading the organisation's human resources, Workplace Health and Safety, Compliance, and Operational Support Functions.
Outside of work, Narissa enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, and spending time on the Murray River.
Kirsten joined RLS in 2004 and oversees RLS Administration and Finance.
Before Kirsten moved to the Riverland in 2002, she was admin/finance officer for a heavy vehicle manufacturer and subsequently admin/finance officer for a finance broking firm.
Lindy joined RLS in 2016 and brings with her an extensive retail and customer service background along with banking experience with NAB and Bank SA.
Lindy's role at RLS is to assist the Home & Investment Lending Department.
Elyce joined RLS in 2018 and assists the commercial and equipment departments by processing equipment and motor vehicle loans, as well as all documentation and settlement requirements.
